Ok we all know windsurfing isn't the easiest sport to learn but now it is.  Let us introduce the living legend  Matt Stringer from WEST LAKES WINDSURFING SCHOOL.  Matt has a range of boards and all the equipment to get you out on the water having the time of your life.

Westlakes Windsurfing School operates from Tiranna Reserve (access via Tiranna Way) which is situated on the Eastern arm of the lake. This stretch of water is extremely safe and has little amount of water traffic. The reserve has toilet facilities, playground and a large lawn area. The beach faces west and provides safe access during the prevailing south westerly sea breeze.

Matt has years of experience and is one of the best instructors ever with his 5 easy steps to success.

Time
All participants are urged to arrive 10 minutes before each lesson

Equipment Provided
Westlakes Windsurfing School will provide you with all windsurfing equipment plus safety gear such as; Personal Floatation Device (life jacket), Helmet and Rescue Craft.

What You Need To Bring
Below is a list of personal items needed during lessons:

  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Bathers
  • Towel
  • Change of dry clothes
  • Drink of water
  • Old sand shoes or similar that can be worn in the water
  • Wetsuit (if you have one)

At the end of each session complimentary soft drinks will be made available. See you there!!!!!
